    Yes, there were [at least one] other gtrst[s] who did Crossroads [& maybe also another besides, if i rem corr], Ry being one of them. I think Vai only did the devil's henchman parts, & possibly another...but mostly the rock gtr parts.

    Yeah, you are right about Ry, but i believe Vai did the other parts. When i looked up the creds for the movie, only those two were mentioned... however, doesn't mean there weren't more uncredited guitarists, but those were the only two i saw.
